Phillipsburg police search for missing 16-year-old believed to be in New York City

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Police are searching for a missing 16-year-old girl last seen in Phillipsburg and believed to be in the New York City area.

Bella Caceres was reported missing from the 500 block of South Main Street, Phillipsburg police said Tuesday.

Authorities said officers and detectives began an active investigation immediately after the report was received, following leads and coordinating with other law enforcement agencies.

Police said there is currently no indication that her disappearance is suspicious, but the investigation remains ongoing.

Caceres is described as a white female, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
