PHOTOS: Hometown Holiday Event brings crowds, holiday spirit to Downtown Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Despite the cold weather, crowds gathered Friday night to kick off the Hackettstown Business Improvement District’s Hometown Holiday event.

The celebration began at 5:00 p.m. at Centenary University with the grand illumination of the Seay building.

At 7:00 p.m., the Santa Parade marched up Main Street, with Santa arriving at the Gazebo Park at the corner of Main St. and West Moore St. to light the Christmas tree.

At the event, it was announced that Mary Litwhiler will serve as the Grand Marshal for the 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Hackettstown.

Hometown Holiday Events for Saturday, December 7th (12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.):

  • Visit Santa’s Wonderland at the Hackettstown Community Center (293 Main Street) from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., in partnership with Hackettstown Recreation.
  • Shop small celebration, featuring business specials and activities throughout town.
  • Enjoy holiday music on Main Street from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., provided by DJ S.C.# Entertainment.
