MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Montville Township police officers traded police work for ranching duties after several horses got loose in the township.
The Montville Township Police Department said Sunday that officers were able to safely corral the horses and return them home.
Police thanked Scott and Jackie from Chestnut Farms for assisting officers in rounding up the loose horses, which did not belong to the farm.
“From being a police officer to a rancher within moments, our well rounded officers know how to handle any situation,” the department said.
Police said all of the horses were safely returned home.
