UPDATE: Multiple arrests made after burglary search in Parsippany-Troy Hills, investigation ongoing

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, N.J. (Morris County) — Multiple individuals were arrested early Saturday following a large-scale search for burglary suspects who fled from a residence on Iron Forge Road Friday night, according to police.

Authorities said the search in the immediate area has concluded, but the matter remains under active investigation. “We would like to thank all law enforcement agencies that provided assistance during the incident,” police said in an update issued at 5:45 a.m. Saturday. Additional details are expected to be released in an official press release in the coming days.

Police initially reported that two suspects had fled the home. They were described as two Black males wearing dark clothing, and authorities said one may have been missing a shoe.

The search effort involved multiple agencies, including K-9 units, drone teams, neighboring departments, and the New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department first posted about the incident on Facebook shortly before 11 p.m. Friday, urging residents to report anything suspicious.
