Portland-Columbia Toll Bridge to have single-lane restriction Sept. 10 for maintenance

A flagger-controlled alternating single-lane travel restriction is scheduled at the Portland-Columbia Toll Bridge (Routes 46, 611, 94) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced.

The restriction will allow Commission maintenance crews to disconnect power lines at a former illuminated sign structure at the bridge. Brief traffic stoppages are possible.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when traveling through the work zone.
