Possible lane closures set for Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge Feb. 23-27

FRENCHTOWN BOROUGH, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists traveling across the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge next week may encounter intermittent lane closures and traffic delays, bridge officials said.

The bridge could be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic controlled by flaggers between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, through Friday, Feb. 27.

Brief traffic stoppages and travel delays are possible during those hours.

Motorists are urged to slow down, use caution and follow directions from flaggers while traveling through the work zone.

Officials said the travel restrictions are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies or other factors.
