
Powerball ticket worth $50K sold in Morris County
CHESTER BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – Generational wealth can come in the form of a simple piece of paper. A New York state lottery player won the $256 million Powerball jackpot from the Saturday, Dec. 7, drawing. The cash value before taxes is $123.5 million.
In addition, one New Jersey Lottery ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn to win a $50,000 prize. That ticket was sold at a Krauser’s store on 95 West Main Street in Chester Borough.
The winning numbers for the drawing were: 01, 31, 43, 55, and 57. The Power Ball numberwas 22. The Power Play was 2X. There were 24,359 other New Jersey players who took home an estimated $128,773 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Monday, Dec. 9, at 10:59 pm.
The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play drawing results for the Saturday, Dec. 7, drawing were: 08, 10, 39, 57, and 61. TheDouble Play Ball number was 12. No players matched the top prize.
