Raritan Township to celebrate the season with ‘Holiday Lights’ event on Dec. 1

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Get ready for an enchanting evening at the Holiday Lights celebration, hosted by Mayor Scott Sipos and the Raritan Township Committee, on December 1st at 5:00 p.m. at the Raritan Township Municipal Building, located at 1 Municipal Drive.

The event promises a festive atmosphere, featuring the lighting of a holiday tree, a menorah, and vibrant Diwali lights, celebrating the diverse traditions that make the season special. Local heroes from the police department, fire department, and 49 rescue squad will join the festivities, bringing a spirit of community and cheer.

Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods for the Flemington Area Food Pantry and take a moment to write holiday cards for active military members serving overseas. In the spirit of giving, this is an excellent opportunity to spread joy and support those in need.

For those with an appetite, Panatieri’s Pizza & Pasta of Flemington will have a food truck on-site offering delicious meals free of charge. Free hot chocolate and cookies will also be available to keep everyone warm and sweeten the evening.

To top off the night, the Fire Department will bring Santa Claus himself! For a small donation, families can capture the moment with a photo with Santa and make this festive evening even more special.
