Closure necessary for bridge deck repairs

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Route 94 northbound ramp to I-80 westbound is scheduled to be closed and detoured tonight in Knowlton Township.

Beginning at 10:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, until 5:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, the Route 94 northbound ramp to I-80 westbound is scheduled to be closed and detoured for bridge deck repairs.

  • Motorists on Route 94 northbound wishing to take the ramp to I-80 westbound will be directed to stay right to continue on Route 94 northbound/Blairstown
  • Stay left to take I-80 eastbound/Route 46/U-Turn
  • Stay right to take the ramp to I-80 westbound/Delaware Water Gap/Stroudsburg PA
  • Continue on Simpson Road
  • Stay right to continue on Simpson Road
  • Stay left to take the ramp to I-80 westbound

The project is part of a $15 million federally funded contract to perform preventative maintenance and increase the service life of bridge structures in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union and Warren counties.
