Roxbury Fire Department to conduct training exercise at former Route 10 Red Lobster

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — The Roxbury Fire Department will conduct a large-scale training exercise Saturday morning at the former Red Lobster restaurant on Route 10, officials announced.

The drill is scheduled to take place from approximately 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents in the area may see multiple fire apparatus, equipment and firefighters actively training at the site.

Fire officials emphasized that the activity is part of a planned training exercise and not an emergency. The drill is designed to help firefighters sharpen their skills and maintain readiness to respond to real-life incidents.

The department thanked residents and motorists for their patience during the exercise, noting that ongoing training is essential to ensuring the safety of the Roxbury community.
