School of Rock Randolph Holiday JAM! to benefit local charities with festive fun, live music and holiday shopping
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – This Sunday, December 8th, the community is invited to celebrate the holiday season at the annual School of Rock Randolph Holiday JAM.
The event, hosted by SOR Randolph, promises a night of fun, music, and giving back, as they raise funds for two important local charities: Eleventh Hour Rescue and the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center.
The holiday event will be held at The Nook, located at the Rock Ridge Golf Course at 500 Schooleys Mountain Road in Washington Township, Morris County. Doors open at 3:00 p.m., with live music all day and the open mic jam starting at 7:00 p.m. Entry is a $15 donation.
Mansfield Township Fire Co. #1 Station 28 will be present to collect new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots campaign. They will also be hosting a photo opportunity with Santa and the Grinch, providing a perfect chance for families to capture some holiday memories. Guests are encouraged to bring a toy or make a cash donation to support the cause.
For the first time, the event will feature the Misfit Toys’ Holiday Market, where local craft vendors will showcase their handmade goods, including soaps, custom jewelry, crocheted items, and unique oddities. It’s a perfect spot to find one-of-a-kind gifts for loved ones.
Attendees are also invited to join in the fun by participating in the Ugliest Sweater Contest. So, get creative with your holiday attire!
Adding to the excitement, The Nook will host a Virtual Golf Simulator featuring a “Longest Drive” contest. For a cash donation, participants can try their hand at driving the longest shot and win a jackpot prize.
As an open mic night, the Holiday JAM! invites anyone to perform. Students from SOR Randolph can sign up for an early slot between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. by registering at the front desk before Wednesday, December 4th. Public sign-ups will begin at 6 p.m., and the open mic will start at 7 p.m.
The Nook will also have a festive menu featuring delicious food and holiday-themed drinks for sale, making it the perfect place to gather with family and friends to enjoy the holiday spirit.
