Single-lane travel in each direction to continue May 1-5 at Easton-Phillipsburg ‘free bridge’

Architectural lighting installation work is scheduled to continue at the three-lane Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge” Monday, May 1, to Friday, May 5, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

Expect the bridge to be reduced to single lanes in each direction 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on those dates.

Travel pattern configurations will vary day to day on the three-lane bridge.

Any travel impacts should be minor as a left turn lane is expected to remain available at the bridge’s Easton side during lane-closure periods.
