Driver injured after box truck runs off Route 517 in Warren County, strikes utility pole and tree

ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) –  A driver was injured after crashing a box truck in Warren County Friday morning, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 7:55 a.m. at the intersection of County Route 517 and Rutherford Road in Allamuchy Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a box truck ran off the roadway into a ditch, subsequently striking a utility pole and tree, Lebron said.

As a result of the crash, the driver suffered minor injuries, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
