Somerset County names fugitive of the month

SOMERSET COUNTY, N.J. — The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office has named Andrew Klekner, 36, of East Brunswick, as its Fugitive of the Month for August.

Klekner is wanted on multiple charges stemming from incidents that occurred in Franklin Township and Raritan Borough. Authorities say he is the subject of an active warrant for a violation of probation related to a fourth-degree charge of obstructing the administration of law or criminal investigation, dating back to January 2024.

He is also wanted for failure to appear in court on third-degree charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, related to a separate incident in January 2025.

Klekner is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has several distinctive tattoos, including a skeleton with a revolver on his right arm and another that reads “In Memory of Nana.” His last known address is in East Brunswick, Middlesex County.

Anyone with information regarding Klekner’s whereabouts is urged not to attempt to apprehend him. Instead, contact the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit at (908) 231-7100.
