Sussex County Community College to host Allied Health Information Sessions

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – Sussex County Community College (SCCC) invites prospective students to attend one of three upcoming Allied Health Information Sessions. These sessions are designed for those interested in exploring careers in the Allied Health field.

SCCC’s knowledgeable staff will be available to discuss the College’s Allied Health academic programs and answer questions.

Sessions will be held in the Performing Arts Center, Room A207/A208, on the following dates:

  • Thursday, June 12
  • Thursday, July 17
  • Thursday, August 7

Each session will run from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Attendees will learn about SCCC’s accredited Medical Assisting Program, Medical Administrative Assistant training, Phlebotomy and Specimen Collection Technician courses, and the Health Science degree. Participants will also have the opportunity to tour the training facility and get guidance on how to start classes this fall.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher.
