Sussex County man charged with possessing fake temporary license plate on car

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County ) – A Sussex County man is accused of having a fake temporary license plate on his car, according to police.

On June 3, a Byram Township Police Officer observed a vehicle speeding on Route 206, police said.

The officer stopped the vehicle and while speaking to the driver, who was identified as Noel Micho of Hopatcong Borough, it was learned that he had a suspended driver’s license, and his vehicle had a fake Texas temporary registration plate, police said.

Micho was charged with third-degree exhibiting a false government document, fourth-degree possessing a false government document, driving while suspended, speeding, unlicensed, fictitious plates, unregistered vehicle, and failure to possess a valid insurance card.

Micho was released pending a court appearance.
