Sussex County’s 11th annual Veterans Picnic to be held Aug. 17

HAMBURG BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – The Sussex County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Senior Services, Municipal Alliance, and the Veterans Committee welcome veterans and their families to attend the 11th Annual Veterans Picnic.

This event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17 from noon to 3:00 p.m., at the Hamburg Fire Department Pavilion, located at State Route 23 South, in Hamburg Borough.

Various service providers will be present to offer information and assistance regarding programs available to veterans and their families. The picnic will include live music, giveaways, tables with veterans service information, and a homemade BBQ. Food will be served between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Veterans Committee members would like veterans and their families to, “Share an afternoon with your fellow veterans with fine food and comradery.”

Space is limited and pre-registration for this event is required. You must pre-register by Aug. 12.
