Teen charged with assaulting security officers, staff member at Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) — A Somerset County teen has been charged with assaulting security officers and a staff member at Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital on Tuesday, according to police.

On November 5, police responded to the hospital following a report of an assault on staff members, authorities said.

During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Jolie Neu, 18, of Branchburg Township kicked security officers and another staff member, resulting in minor injuries to two of the staff members, police said.

Neu was charged with aggravated assault and simple assault. She was released pending a future court appearance, police said.
