Temptations brand brings back two limited-edition Halloween cat treats
The Temptations brand, part of Mars, Incorporated, has introduced two limited-edition Halloween cat treats, offering pet owners seasonal flavors inspired by the holiday.
The company announced Monday, Oct. 26, that Temptations MixUps Tasty Human and Temptations Creepy Catnip are returning for the Halloween season, with both varieties available at major retailers while supplies last.
Temptations, which describes itself as America’s No. 1 cat treat brand, is part of Mars Pet Nutrition, a division of Mars, Incorporated, the global company with a major presence in Hackettstown, New Jersey.
The seasonal lineup includes Temptations MixUps Tasty Human, which combines chicken, liver and beef flavors in a single pouch. Temptations Creepy Catnip features a catnip flavor and comes in limited-edition Halloween packaging.
Both varieties feature the brand’s signature crunchy exterior and soft center. According to the company, the treats contain fewer than two calories each and are formulated to provide complete and balanced nutrition for adult cat maintenance.
“Cats have always been part of Halloween’s magic, from their mysterious personalities to their starring roles in spooky-season traditions,” said Lukasz Wysoczanski, Vice President, Care & Treats, Mars Pet Nutrition North America. “With two festive flavors to choose from, cat parents can bring their kitties into the Halloween fun with playful treats made for celebrating and sharing and all season long.”
The Temptations brand has produced cat treats for more than two decades, using ingredients that include animal protein and essential nutrients. The company said the Halloween varieties are intended to give pet owners another way to include their cats in seasonal celebrations.
The treats can be offered as rewards, snacks, meal toppers or as part of a cat’s regular feeding routine, according to Mars.
Both Temptations MixUps Tasty Human and Temptations Creepy Catnip will be available at major retailers throughout the Halloween season while supplies last.
