The Little Town Diner opens in Washington Borough
WASHINGTON BOROUGH, N.J. (Warren County) — The Little Town Diner officially opened its doors Monday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by owners Noel and Alicia Lopez, staff, family, friends, and community leaders.
Washington Business Improvement District board president Nicole Kries and interim executive director Kristy Romanowski joined the celebration at the new eatery, located at 150 Route 31. Within minutes of opening, customers filled tables for breakfast and other offerings.
The diner serves three meals a day, with a menu featuring both classics and creative plates. Morning choices include avocado toast with poached eggs and avocado salsa, biscuits and gravy with homemade sausage, and a loaded breakfast skillet packed with potatoes, chorizo, peppers, onions, cheese, and sunny-side eggs. Omelet lovers can try options like the mariachi omelette with hot peppers, Spanish onions, fresh tomato, and cheddar cheese, or build their own with a wide selection of vegetables, cheeses, and meats.
