Track maintenance may cause delays on Morris & Essex, Gladstone Branch lines Aug. 11–15

NJ Transit is advising riders on the Morris & Essex Lines and the Gladstone Branch to expect possible delays of up to 15 minutes on certain westbound trains next week due to track maintenance.

From Monday, Aug. 11, through Friday, Aug. 15, westbound trains traveling between East Orange and Gladstone, Dover, or Hackettstown stations may experience delays between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. During this period, westbound trains will operate on Track 1 from East Orange through Maplewood stations.

NJ Transit recommends customers subscribe to My Transit Alerts for text and email notifications, use the TRANSIT mobile app for customized push alerts, check the Travel Alerts & Advisories page for updates, or follow @NJTRANSIT and line-specific accounts on X (formerly Twitter) for service information.
