Tractor-trailer overturns on I-287 in Morris County crash; driver injured

BOONTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash early Thursday morning on I-287 North, at milepost 44.8, in Boonton Township, where a tractor-trailer overturned after striking a guardrail, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

At approximately 4:02 a.m., the tractor-trailer veered off the roadway to the right, colliding with the guardrail before overturning. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation by authorities, and no additional information is available at this time.
