Two players split $973,126 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot

NEW JERSEY — Two lottery players matched all five numbers in Thursday’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing, splitting a $973,126 jackpot, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The winning numbers for the Sept. 3 drawing were 03, 04, 17, 29 and 44. The Bullseye number was 03, and the XTRA was 02.

One of the jackpot-winning tickets was purchased through the Jackpocket app. The other was sold at In & Out Convenience Store, 1177 West Browning Road in Bellmawr, Camden County.

Each retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.

In addition to the jackpot winners, 31 players matched four of the five numbers plus the Bullseye to win $500 each. Eight of those players added the XTRA option, doubling their prizes to $1,000.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was reset to $150,000 for Friday’s drawing.
