Warren County Division of Aging & Disability Services relocates to new office
WHITE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Warren County’s Division of Aging & Disability Services has a new home. Formerly housed in the Wayne Dumont Jr. Administration Building, the Division has officially moved to 1 Shotwell Drive, uniting most of the county’s Human Services operations under one roof.
Deputy Commissioner Director Lori Ciesla, liaison to the Human Services Department, toured the new offices on Nov. 5 alongside Steve Unger, the Division’s Executive Director, and Emily Hammer, Director of Warren County’s Department of Public Works.
“This new office space for the Division of Aging & Disability Services was much needed,” Ciesla said. “The improvements to everyone’s work space is going to allow them to be more productive and provides much needed privacy and comfort for the people they serve.”
Located just off Route 519, the move completes a long-planned consolidation of the county’s Human Services Department, which includes four divisions: Administration, Adjuster, Aging & Disability Services, and Temporary Assistance and Social Services (TASS).
In October 2024, a new facility opened at 3 Shotwell Drive to serve TASS consumers, freeing space in the main Human Services building to be renovated for Aging & Disability Services staff. The new office now features a separate entrance designed for better accessibility and convenience.
“The attention to detail by our Director of Public Works and Executive Director of Aging & Disability Services will not go unnoticed,” Ciesla said. “I’m very pleased with the aesthetic, financial, and functional decisions on these renovations. I hope residents will be pleased as well.”
