Warren County man killed in Paterson shooting; three others wounded

PATERSON, N.J. (Passaic County) — A 20-year-old man from Oxford Township was killed and three others were wounded in a shooting Saturday evening in Paterson, authorities said.

Officers responded at about 6:13 p.m. to the area of 10th Avenue and East 29th Street on a report of gunfire, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Officer-in-Charge Patrick Murray. When police arrived, they found four people suffering from gunshot wounds.

All four victims were taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where the Oxford man was later pronounced dead. Two of the victims remain in critical condition, while a fourth is listed in stable condition, officials said.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims.
