WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Warren County will hold a remembrance ceremony Friday, Sept. 11, to mark the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and honor those who lost their lives.
The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. at the Warren County 9/11 Memorial, located at 1500 Route 57 in Washington Township, between Warren County Technical School and Warren County Community College.
Members of the Warren County community will gather to remember the victims of the attacks, recognize the heroes who responded and reflect on the strength shown in the aftermath of Sept. 11.
First responders from throughout Warren County will participate in the ceremony, which will also recognize emergency services personnel and their service to the community.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony and join county officials and first responders in remembering those who were lost and ensuring the events and sacrifices of Sept. 11, 2001, are never forgotten.
