Washington Celebrates America seeks nominations for 2025 4th of July Parade Grand Marshal

WASHINGTON, NJ (Warren County) – Washington Celebrates America 2025 is calling on the community to nominate a deserving individual or family to serve as the Grand Marshal for this year’s 4th of July parade.

The event organizers are looking for individuals who have demonstrated selflessness, kindness, generosity, and a deep commitment to the community.

The nomination form is now open and will remain active until the end of April. Washington Celebrates America encourages nominations for individuals, couples, or families who have made a lasting impact on the town, either through service, volunteer work, business accomplishments, or charitable contributions.

To nominate a candidate, community members are asked to complete the contact information section of the form and provide a detailed, compelling case for why their nominee should be selected as Grand Marshal. The selection committee will prioritize outstanding contributions to the Washington area, such as work with local service organizations, significant volunteerism, successful business ventures, and charitable donations to nonprofit groups.

Additionally, the committee will consider individuals who have achieved national recognition in fields such as entertainment, athletics, innovation, or politics, provided they have ties to the community.

The committee encourages nominators to be as thorough as possible when describing the nominee’s qualifications and their impact on the community. It is important to note that while the nominee does not have to be a current Washington resident, preference will be given to those who have spent a significant amount of time living, working, or volunteering in the area.
