Water main break on Bowers Drive in Allamuchy Township may cause low or no water pressure
ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A water main break on Bowers Drive in Allamuchy Township may leave nearby residents with little or no water pressure as crews work to make repairs, according to township emergency management officials.
The Allamuchy Township Office of Emergency Management reported the break in a social media post Thursday, Nov. 5, around 10:30 p.m., saying the Allamuchy Water Department was on the scene addressing the problem.
Officials warned that residents in the surrounding area could experience reduced water pressure or a complete loss of water service while repairs are underway.
Motorists and residents were also urged to use caution near Bowers Drive as crews work to repair the damaged water main.
Officials did not provide an estimated time for the completion of repairs or the restoration of normal water pressure. The announcement did not include any instructions for residents to boil their water.
