‘Wizard of Oz’ holiday production runs through Dec. 14 at Centenary Stage Company

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Centenary Stage Company is presenting its family holiday production of The Wizard of Oz, with performances running now through Dec. 14 at the Sitnik Theatre, 715 Grand Ave.

Based on the classic story by L. Frank Baum, the production features music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, with background music by Herbert Stothart. The show follows Dorothy, a Kansas farm girl who is swept “over the rainbow” to a magical land where she discovers the true meaning of home.

The theatre company calls the show a “magical production” suitable for all ages.
