Woman charged with arson after fire at Morris County Walgreens, police say

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Pennsylvania woman has been charged with arson following a fire at a Walgreens in Denville Township, authorities said.

Police responded March 19 to a 911 call reporting a possible fire inside the store at 22 W. Main St. Upon arrival, officers investigated and determined the fire had been intentionally set.

Following the investigation, April Sedutto, 45, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, was identified as the suspect, police said.

Sedutto later turned herself in at Denville Police Headquarters, where she was arrested and processed.

She was charged with third-degree arson and third-degree criminal mischief.

Sedutto was released pending a future court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
