Woman charged with DWI after officers find her unconscious in Warren County parking lot

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — A Florida woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after Hackettstown police found her unconscious behind the wheel of a running vehicle in a convenience store parking lot, authorities said.

According to the Hackettstown Police Department, officers were conducting a property check at the QuickChek on Mountain Avenue on June 14 when they observed a vehicle parked with its engine running and a lone female occupant appearing unconscious behind the wheel.

Police identified the driver as Carin M. Frisco, 55, of North Palm Beach, Florida.

During the investigation, officers observed open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle, detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage and noted Frisco had bloodshot, watery eyes, police said.

Authorities said Frisco was unable to successfully complete standardized field sobriety tests.

Frisco was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. She was released pending a mandatory court appearance.
