Woman charged with DWI following crash in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) — A Morris County woman is facing charges, including driving while intoxicated, following a motor vehicle crash on Sunday in Denville Township.

On December 22, police were alerted to a loud bang near Indian Road and Route 53. When officers arrived, they found a motor vehicle accident with the driver, Kristen A. Cobb, 31, of Rockaway, still inside the vehicle, police said.

After an investigation, Cobb was arrested for driving while intoxicated, authorities said.

Cobb was charged with DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, and having an open container of alcohol. She was later released pending a court appearance, according to police.
