Woman found passed out in parked car faces drug charges, police say
MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A woman was arrested in February after police found her passed out in a parked vehicle in Mansfield Township, according to a release on Tuesday.
On Monday, Feb. 12, at 03:41 a.m., an individual contacted police requesting a welfare check on a unconscious female in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. The caller indicated the female had a history of drug use and was possibly under the influence of an illegal substance, police said.
Upon officers’ arrival, they made contact with the driver, who was identified as Melissa Valocski, and after officer’s plain view observations and a brief investigation, it was determined she was allegedly under the influence of an injected narcotic and passed out behind the wheel of her parked vehicle, police said.
Valocski was arrested and charged with possession of CDS schedule I II III IV and CDS paraphernalia. She was then lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance, police said.
