Woman hospitalized following snake bite in Hunterdon County, state police say

KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A woman has been hospitalized after she was bitten by a snake in Hunterdon County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

NJ state police responded to a report of an animal bite at 9:59 a.m. at a residence on County Road 519 in Kingwood Township, Lebron said.

According to Lebron, a 25-year-old woman sustained minor injuries from a snake bite and was transported to an area hospital.

The incident remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
