U.S. Postal Service truck catches fire in Sussex County

FRANKFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) –  U.S. Postal Service truck burst into flames in Sussex County Thursday afternoon.

The mail truck caught fire at around 12:24 p.m. on Lower North Shore Road in Frankford Township.

Fire crews suppressed the fire and then conducted an overhaul to ensure no fire remained, before the vehicle was turned over to the tow company.

There was no indication anyone was injured and the cause of the fire wasn’t immediately clear.
