1 person injured in crash involving overturned car in Sussex County

GREEN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A crash involving an overturned vehicle left a person injured in Sussex County on Friday morning, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Trooper Troy McNair.

The crash happened at around 9:01 a.m. on County Route 517 in Green Township, McNair said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Honda passenger vehicle was attempting to make a left onto County Route 517 from County Route 603 when the Honda collided with a Chevrolet passenger vehicle, McNair said.

The impact caused the Chevrolet to overturn on its side, McNair said.

The driver of the Chevrolet suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, McNair said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, McNair said.
