2.6-magnitude aftershock reported in Somerset County

GLADSTONE, NJ (Somerset County) – A 2.6-magnitude aftershock was reported Wednesday morning in Somerset County, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The aftershock was recorded just before 10:30 a.m. at a depth of 5.0 kilometers and 3 miles south west of Gladstone, according to USGS.

It’s the 47th aftershock to hit the region since the 4.8-magnitude earthquake that rocked New Jersey and parts of the Northeast on Friday, according to the USGS.
