5 people scored free lift tickets to Mountain Creek for reciting the Gettysburg Address on Lincoln’s birthday

VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Five people flexed their brains and made Abe Lincoln proud on Monday by reciting the Gettysburg Address to score a free lift ticket to Mountain Creek.

To celebrate the 16th President’s birthday, people were asked to recite the entire Gettysburg Address to receive a free lift ticket to Mountain Creek, located at 200 Route 94, in Vernon Township.

Here is a list of winners:

  • Sara Hook of Hawthorne Borough
  • Sam Boys, 12, of Hardyston Township
  • Massyl Mallem, 24, of Kent, CT
  • Sam Coyne, 12, of Ringwood Borough
  • Cassidy Coyne, 13, of Ringwood Borough

The event took place at Joe C’s Café located inside Red Tail Lodge.
