6 injured, 1 seriously, following head-on crash in Warren County, state police say

HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Six people were injured, including one seriously, following a head-on crash in Warren County Saturday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash happened at around 3:01 p.m. on the County Route 521 northbound at milepost 0.7 in Hope Township, Marchan said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Honda passenger car, driven by Kesheena Cole, 32, of Jamaica, NY was traveling south on County Route 521 and a Subaru, driven by Owen Harvey, 41, of Belvidere, was traveling northbound on County Route 521 when the Honda entered the northbound lane of travel and struck the Subaru head-on, Marchan said.

As a result of the crash, Cole and two passengers in her vehicle suffered moderate injuries. A 9-year-old boy passenger in her vehicle suffered serious injures, Marchan said.

Harvey and his passenger both suffered moderate injuries, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Marchan said.
