Hunterdon County Commissioner Director Kuhl attends grand opening of Prevention Resources’ new community wellness center

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Hunterdon County Commissioner Director Jeff Kuhl, along with staff and board members from Prevention Resources, local officials, and volunteers, gathered last week for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Community Wellness Center. The center is located at 44 Emery Avenue in Flemington.

This event marks a significant milestone in the county’s continued efforts to enhance community health and well-being.

Director Kuhl shared, “This Community Wellness Center will provide invaluable resources and support to our residents, promoting mental health awareness, addiction prevention, and overall wellness. As a Board, we are truly grateful to Prevention Resources for their dedication and hard work in making this center a reality. Their commitment to improving the health and well-being of our community is truly commendable. We look forward to the positive impact this center will have on the lives of our residents,” Kuhl said.

The Community Wellness Center will offer a wide range of programs and services, including mental health counseling, addiction prevention education, life application and wellness workshops, and community outreach initiatives. The center aims to create a nurturing environment where individuals and families can access the support they need to thrive.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured remarks from Prevention Resources representatives and local officials. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about the various services offered, and meet the dedicated team behind the center’s operations.
