Hunterdon County’s Heron Glen Golf Course recognized as the #1 public course in New Jersey

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Earlier this month, Hunterdon County’s Heron Glen Golf Course, located in Raritan Township, was awarded the #1 slot among the Top 20 Golf Courses in New Jersey by GolfPass in their Golfers’ Choice 2025 ranking.

This prestigious recognition highlights Heron Glen’s dedication to providing an exceptional golfing experience, thanks to its well-maintained course, beautiful facilities, and top-tier customer service.

Commissioner Director John Lanza stated, “Heron Glen Golf Course’s recognition as New Jersey’s top public golf course is a source of immense pride for Hunterdon County. This accolade is a testament to the dedication and expertise of the entire Heron Glen team and their ongoing efforts to provide the highest quality experience for golfers, including many of our residents.”

In addition to being named the top public golf course in New Jersey, Heron Glen Golf Course also earned an Honorable Mention in the National Golf Foundation’s (NGF) Golfers’ Voice Awards, in the premium segment for staff and customer service. These awards celebrate public facilities that excel in customer satisfaction, course conditions, and overall player experience.
