Route 10 westbound lane closures in Randolph to begin Sept. 29 for gas main work

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Motorists on Route 10 westbound in Randolph Township should expect delays beginning Monday, Sept. 29, as priority gas main work will require lane closures through mid-October, officials said.

According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the right lane of Route 10 westbound at Salem Road/County Route 665/Mount Pleasant Turnpike will be closed beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, through 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15.

In addition, the center lane will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Sept. 29 and continuing each night through Oct. 15. The left lane and all ramps will remain open during construction. Route 10 eastbound will not be affected.

The work is part of a New Jersey Natural Gas Company project. Officials advised drivers to slow down, use caution, and anticipate delays in the work zone.
