Assemblywoman Aura Dunn launches coat drive, Toys for Tots collection to support local families

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — As the holiday season approaches, Assemblywoman Aura Dunn announced two community initiatives aimed at supporting families facing hardship: a children’s winter coat drive and a Toys for Tots collection.

“As we enter the holiday season, many families in our community are facing real hardship. To help support our neighbors, my office is launching two efforts to bring warmth and joy to local children who need it most,” Dunn said.

Children’s Winter Coat Drive
Dunn’s office is partnering with the Mount Arlington Public Library to collect new or gently used children’s coats and jackets. Donations will be delivered to the Morristown Neighborhood House to assist local families throughout the winter.

The coat drive runs from Monday, Nov. 24, through Friday, Dec. 12.

Mount Arlington Public Library

Hours: Monday 12–8 p.m.; Tuesday–Thursday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday–Saturday 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Toys for Tots Collection
Dunn’s district office is also serving as an official drop-off location for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. New, unwrapped toys may be donated now through Friday, Dec. 12.
