LEAD Morris participants attend criminal justice retreat hosted in part by prosecutor’s office

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Members of LEAD Morris, a community education program run by the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, participated in a criminal justice-focused educational retreat Feb. 25 that included presentations from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and a tour of the county jail.

The program brought together representatives from the County College of Morris, Saint Clare’s Health, Morris County Vocational Technical School, Picatinny Arsenal, the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and various community organizations.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll delivered welcoming remarks and outlined the structure and responsibilities of the prosecutor’s office.

Chief Assistant Prosecutor Brad Seabury and Sgt. Thomas Joiner presented on the office’s Special Operations Division, highlighting the work of the Digital Forensics Investigations and Intelligence units and discussing investigative efforts undertaken by the agency.

The retreat also included a tour of the Morris County Correctional Facility and sessions led by Morris County administration officials.

LEAD Morris is designed to provide participants with educational experiences and insight into key issues and institutions throughout the county.
