CCM to host April 18 open house for prospective students

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — County College of Morris will host an open house next month, inviting prospective students, families, adult learners and veterans to explore academic programs and campus opportunities.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at the college’s campus on Center Grove Road.

The open house will highlight more than 100 associate degree, certificate and workforce development programs designed to prepare students for careers or transfer to four-year institutions. Officials said attendees will also learn about flexible learning options, including on-campus, hybrid and fully online programs, as well as new accelerated 18-month online programs launching this fall.

Visitors can attend welcome sessions at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. and participate in guided campus tours showcasing classrooms, labs, studios and other facilities.

Representatives from admissions, financial aid, student support services and the Veterans Resource Center will be available to answer questions and provide information about available resources.

Prospective students will also have the opportunity to apply for admission on-site at no cost and meet with student success specialists to plan their schedules and register for upcoming semesters. The college’s Center for Workforce Development will offer assistance with enrolling in non-credit professional training programs.

Officials said the event is designed to help students of all backgrounds — including high school graduates, career changers and veterans — take the next step toward education and employment.
