ShopRite expands spring holiday rewards program with new free items

NEW JERSEY — ShopRite has expanded its annual Spring Holiday Rewards program, offering customers new free item options alongside traditional holiday meal incentives.

The promotion, available to shoppers using a Price Plus® club card, allows eligible customers to earn rewards by spending $400 through April 4 at participating stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Delaware.

While the program continues to include its traditional free ham or turkey options, this year’s promotion adds a wider selection of desserts and appetizers, including ice cream, pies, charcuterie items and vegetable trays.

Among the new reward choices are Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream, Bowl & Basket potstickers, Di Bruno Bros. artisan cheese trays, Stouffer’s mac and cheese, Farmer’s Market pies and Taylor Farms vegetable trays.

“The new Spring Holiday Rewards program reflects our commitment to giving our loyal customers more flexibility and more of what they love,” said Darren Caudill, Chief Sales Officer for Wakefern Food Corp., the retailer-owned cooperative whose members operate ShopRite stores. “By expanding our value reward options, we’re making it even easier for families to celebrate in the way that works best for them.”

Customers can track and redeem their rewards through their Price Plus® accounts, with redemption available through the end of the promotion period. Extended redemption through April 11 is available for Passover-related items, including kosher turkey and chicken options.

The updated rewards program is part of ShopRite’s broader effort to provide value to customers. Earlier this year, the company expanded its Locked-In Pricing program, which offers extended price stability on select grocery items.
