Phillipsburg police seek man wanted on drug possession warrant

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Phillipsburg police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on a warrant related to a drug possession case.

Lamir Q. Montgomery, also known as Darnell McMillion, is wanted for narcotics possession, according to a notice released by the Phillipsburg Police Department.

Authorities allege that on June 24, 2022, Montgomery was found in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, specifically suspected MDMA. He was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and later released pending further court proceedings.

Police said Montgomery subsequently failed to appear for scheduled court appearances, and a bench warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Montgomery’s current whereabouts are unknown. Police said he may be in the Irvington, New Jersey, or Columbia, South Carolina, areas.
