
Pedestrian airlifted after crash in Hunterdon County
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A pedestrian was airlifted to a hospital Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle at a Flemington Borough intersection, authorities said.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:13 a.m. June 15 at the intersection of Route 31 and Church Street, according to authorities.
Police said a Subaru Crosstrek hatchback was making a left turn onto southbound Route 31 when it collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was flown to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where the individual remained in stable condition, police said.
The driver of the Subaru was not injured.
Emergency responders from the Raritan Township Police Department, Readington Township Police Department, Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad, Flemington Fire Department, Hunterdon Medical Center paramedics and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Flemington Borough Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.
