2 dead after Warren County house fire

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Two people died in a house fire early Tuesday in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded at 12:38 a.m. to a residential structure fire at 88 Mohican Road in Blairstown Township.

When troopers arrived, the residence was fully engulfed in flames, state police said.

Two individuals were inside the home at the time of the fire and suffered fatal injuries. Their identities have not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
