Flagger-controlled alternating traffic scheduled at New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge June 30 and July 1
LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists using the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge should expect delays Tuesday and Wednesday as the bridge is reduced to a single lane for maintenance work.
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission said flagger-controlled alternating traffic will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on June 30 and July 1.
The temporary traffic restriction is needed so workers can address a peeling paint issue on one of the bridge’s center truss spans.
Brief travel delays are possible while flagging operations are underway.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather, emergencies or other factors.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds, use caution and follow directions from flaggers while traveling through the work zone.
